Thin 10,000 mAh Qi2 Battery Bank for Pixel 10 - Baseus PicoGo AM52 Review (2026)

Tired of bulky battery banks ruining the sleek feel of your Pixel 10? You're not alone. Finding a portable charger that's both powerful and pocketable can feel like searching for a unicorn. But what if I told you there's a new contender that might just solve this problem? Enter the Baseus PicoGo AM52, a 10,000 mAh Qi2 battery bank aiming to hit that sweet spot between capacity and convenience.

Baseus isn't exactly new to the game. They've already released a 10,000 mAh Qi 2.2 power bank, and we even got our hands on it a few months back. The core idea is solid: wireless charging, even with the improved magnetic alignment of Qi2, inherently loses some power during the transfer. So, a 10,000 mAh bank is almost a necessity if you want to fully top off a modern smartphone. But here's where it gets controversial... Many of these high-capacity options are just plain big. That's why those smaller 5,000 mAh power banks remain so popular – they prioritize portability. This new PicoGo AM52 seemingly attempts to bridge the gap between power and size.

The Baseus PicoGo AM52 boasts a thickness of just 0.63 inches. Now, that might not sound like a revolutionary difference compared to the previous model's 0.73 inches, but trust me, those tenths of an inch, combined with a rounded design, make a huge difference in hand and in your pocket. Instead of feeling like you're lugging around a brick, it genuinely feels like you're just holding a slightly thicker phone. The matte aluminum casing adds a touch of premium feel, too. On my Pixel 10, it sits flush against the back, without awkwardly overhanging the edges. It's a subtle design, but it makes a world of difference in daily use.

And this is the part most people miss... While it doesn't have a built-in USB-C cable (a feature some other 10,000 mAh magnetic power banks include), you can still leverage the USB-C port for a hefty 45W output (or input) when you use a cable. For Pixel 10 Pro XL and some iPhone models, the bank can even deliver Qi2 25W wireless charging speeds, at least for a limited time. Keep in mind that wireless charging speeds can fluctuate based on temperature and other factors.

Baseus actually has an even thinner 10,000 mAh battery available, but it comes with a significant trade-off: slower charging speeds, both wirelessly and wired. The PicoGo AM52 aims to be the first of its kind to offer a balance of size and speed without major compromises. I'm planning to put it through its paces at CES 2026 this week, but based on the hardware alone, I'm already impressed.

Baseus hasn't yet announced the official launch price, so stay tuned for those details in the coming weeks. But consider this: would you rather have the absolute thinnest battery pack possible, even if it means slower charging, or a slightly thicker one that charges faster? Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Beyond the PicoGo AM52, Baseus is also unveiling a range of other charging solutions at CES 2026, including the Nomos NH21 6-in-1 Desktop Charging Station, which boasts a Qi2 pedestal and a massive 245W power output (enough to charge two laptops simultaneously!). They're also launching the AC22 Ultra Mini battery bank, which is roughly the same size as an earbuds case, and two new battery banks featuring built-in displays that show power output information. Lots to be excited about from Baseus!
